GDPR User Information

User Data according to GDPR regulation:

  1. According to gdpr experts ‘personal data’ means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (‘data subject’); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person; y

The way that user information manifests in Bidtellect’s ecosystem is:

  • GlobalID
    • BuyerUID
    • IFA
    • any and all related ID’s
  • IP Address
  • AudienceID’s

How we collect user data:

  • Bid Request
    • Bidtellect receives user data in the bid request
      • BuyerUID
      • IFA
      • IP address
  • Bidtellect sets a cookie
    • impression
    • click
    • conversion
    • engagement code
    • video events
    • retargeting

How we use user data

  • intraspaced targeting
  • bid optimization
  • retargeting
  • frequency capping

Users can opt out of data collection via https://bidtellect.com/optout/

In the future, Bidtellect will provide the ability for users to see how their data is being collected as well as provide the option for said data to be deleted from Bidtellect’s data storage

The user will go to privacy.bttrack.com or similar

  • If the user wants to see the data being collected on them:
    • The user submits an email address
    • Bidtellect reads cookies from the browser
      • If we don’t have a record of the cookie, we send an email back saying we don’t have any information on you.
      • If we do have a record of the cookie, we provide users a report that contains all the information we have about them.
        • Number of Requests we’ve seen
        • Number of Impressions
        • Number of Clicks
        • Number of Conversions
        • Engagement data
        • Video events
        • Retargeting
        • Audience names that they are a part of as well as the DMP partner
  • If the user wants to delete data being collected on them
    • Bidtellect reads cookies from the browser
      • deletes all userID’s associated with the cookie in question and replaces it with 0001
      • deletes all IP addresses associated with the cookie in question and replaces it with 0.0.0.0
